  1. Deep breath
  2. Empty of distractions
  3. Focus on emotional mass
  4. Find components
  5. For each component, list source
  6. Exhaust components, until the mass feels devoid of novelty
  7. Address sources with reasons, release feeling

I feel bad
Bad => Angry Powerless Sad
=> Angry because my efforts are not producing the result I wish for
=> Powerless because I feel I have exhausted my options
=> Sad because I don't see a way to improve the situation

=> Though I did not produce the results I sought, I've done all I can.
=> Though I do not have direct influence, the situation is not hopeless
=> Though I do not see it now, it does not mean the situation is impossible.
